Landscape Design for Gardens and Parks Hardcover – Large Print, August 26, 2024

This book is a review of my landscape designwork to date, focusing on gardens and park green spaces. I have mostly done gardens in the Seattle area, where I have lived for over half a century, but it all began with a residential garden in Nara, which I was involved in when I was only 22 years old. I only made the drawings, and was impressed by the skill of the gardeners who built it based on those drawings. This is my favorite. I have done park green space works in the United States, Japan, China, and the Middle East, mainly Dubai. They include works that fall into the category of urban design, standalone neighborhood parks and green space planning associated with city and housing complex development. Read more
