They are made entirely of 304 stainless steel, including the valves, and all the gaskets are high temperature tolerant platinum cured silicone. The entire lid is removable and the inside is mirror polished, making this stainless steel fermentation tank very easy to clean and sterilize. The total capacity of this stainless steel fermenter is 8 gallons, so you will have plenty of head space for that wonderful foamy, bubbly fermentation action. On the bottom, there are two 1.5" tri-clover ferrules for attaching the drain and racking valves (both included). On the top, there is one 1.5" tri-clover ferrule for attaching an airlock or blow-off valve. There is a fourth 1.5" tri-clamp connection on the side to make it easy to add a thermowell if desired.
