Job Description

Nielsen Ford of Morristown is looking to add a Service Valet/Quality Control to our team. This person will be accountable for greeting and interacting with our loyal customers and their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in the service drive with a professional, friendly, and engaging attitude
  • Perform vehicle walk-around inspections with customers to document existing vehicle condition and customer concerns
  • Accurately tag and organize vehicles for service advisors and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and record keeping
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized service department environment
  • Park, stage, and organize customer vehicles while properly documenting vehicle locations and key information
  • Perform quality control checks on serviced vehicles to help ensure repairs and maintenance were completed correctly
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to verify noises, vibrations, or customer concerns have been properly addressed
  • Verify customer complaints and repair concerns are resolved before vehicle delivery
  • Shuttle customers to and from home or work locations as needed while providing excellent customer service
  • Support service department operations with additional duties including errands, department upkeep, and vehicle movement
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and customers to help deliver a positive service experience
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment

  • Clean driving record and ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to participate in ongoing training
  • Ability to identify and communicate vehicle issues, noises, or unresolved concerns professionally
