Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route telephone calls and emails; maintain a call log using Excel
  • Greet and assist visitors with inquiries and directions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, reception, and display areas
  • Perform typing and data entry tasks
  • Assist with filing and copying documents (electronic and hardcopy)
  • Create promotional materials such as ads, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, yard signs, and logbooks
  • Support the Licensing and Recreation Department with contests and public events
  • Coordinate with staff on event logistics and visitor services

Skills:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, ShareFile)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and/or experience that meets the minimum qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
