Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Medical Assembler to join our team in crafting two distinct products. The primary focus will be on assembling the implantable component, known as the sub-assembly or cartridge, which aids in treating rotator cuff injuries by attaching the tendon to the bone. The role involves tying precise knots in suture repair lines around small anchors, with the aid of microscopes when necessary. The secondary task involves assembling molded plastic parts to create the cartridge shell and the implantation apparatus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the implantable sub-assembly or cartridge with precision.
• Tie small knots in suture repair lines around anchors, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Utilize microscopes to assist in the assembly process when needed.
• Assemble molded plastic parts to form the cartridge shell and implantation apparatus.
• Document processes according to GDP and maintain high attention to detail.
• Inspect and package finished medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated hand dexterity and experience with manual medical assembly.
• Experience handling implantable medical products.
• Ability to work with microscopes for detailed assembly tasks.
• Knowledge of documentation on travelers and attention to quality details.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year plus of manual medical assembly experience.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and medical device assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to safety protocols with the use of PPE such as booties, hairnet, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Plain, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
