Licensed 220 Insurance Agent (Personal or Commercial Lines)

Base + Commission 

We are seeking a licensed 220 Insurance Agent to join a growing, client-focused team. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional with a background in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines who can manage client relationships, service accounts, and drive new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an existing book of business

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Evaluate coverage needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

• Quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with carrier guidelines

• Handle renewals, endorsements, and policy changes

• Review policies for accuracy and coverage gaps

• Identify cross-sell opportunities to grow accounts and improve retention

• Stay current on carrier updates, market trends, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida 220 Insurance License

• 2+ years of experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines

• Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines

• Proven ability to manage accounts and/or generate new business

• Strong communication and client relationship skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers

• Existing book of business or strong referral network

• Experience in an independent insurance agency environment
