Job Description

Salary: $72,000 - 94,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
  • Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Citrix
  • Proficient in SQL Server management (backups, permissions)
  • Experienced with security tools like CrowdStrike (endpoint protection) and Veeam (backup and disaster recovery)
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Defender (endpoint and cloud security) and Meraki (network and security appliances)
  • In-depth understanding of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, VOIP systems, and mobile technologies
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with SASE tools and architectures is a plus
  • Experience in Healthcare, particularly Home Healthcare, is an advantage
  • Vehicle ownership is necessary; occasional travel is expected
  • Clear Background and Vulnerable Sector Check required
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee cybersecurity strategy, focusing on infrastructure modernization, security improvements, and business continuity/disaster recovery (BCP/DRP)
  • Manage annual penetration testing and address findings, ensuring accountability for remediation
  • Supervise vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and patching for servers, endpoints, and network devices; maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and report metrics
  • Ensure effective management of Identity & Access Management (IAM) controls, such as Azure AD, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access
  • Guarantee compliance with relevant security frameworks, regulations, and internal policies
  • Evaluate LAN/WAN operations continuously to identify areas for enhancing performance and security
  • Spearhead modernization initiatives for network infrastructure, focusing on improved security and scalability
  • Oversee telephony and mobility services including VOIP systems and mobile device management
  • Support optimization of cloud services, including cost governance, capacity planning, and performance tuning
  • Handle Level 3 infrastructure and security tickets in Jira, ensuring prompt resolution and adherence to SLAs
  • Collaborate with IT operations teams on incident management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop technical staff to foster a collaborative learning environment
  • Lead projects aimed at transitioning from legacy applications to new solutions that boost reliability and user experience
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets for infrastructure, cloud, and security services
  • Contribute to strategic planning to maximize value from current solutions and integrate modern tools and practices
  • Participate in committees and community functions to enhance internal and external communications
  • Provide regular updates on IT operations, risks, and workplans to leadership and stakeholders
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and certifications
