Highlights:

• Join our team four cardiologists and P.A. at Lake View Cardiology
• Newly renovated cardiology clinic with full range of in-office imaging and diagnostic testing
• Position includes some general cardiology
• Perform full range of interventions
• Shared cardiology call covering one hospital
• Large, unsaturated geographic and population catchment area of ~ 450,000 in Texas Panhandle and border states

The Heart and Vascular Center at NWTHS

• The only dedicated specialty heart center the Texas Panhandle region
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
• 58 private rooms in beautiful, modern setting promoting healing
• Features 3 cath labs and an EP lab with newly upgraded mapping system
• Advanced technologies include the WATCHMAN Implant, The Micra(tm) TPS, and the LifeVest(r)
• Also offer the Medtronic Arctic Front(tm) System for Cryoblation
• Performed the first robotic-assisted PCI in Texas using the Corindus CorPath(r) System
• First in Amarillo to implant the Barostim(tm) Baroflex AT
• Features the Rhythm of Life, a certified Cardiac Rehab Center
• Hospital has dedicated in-house cardiothoracic and vascular surgery

Responsibilities:

• Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions and disease
• Perform diagnostic testing and procedures, interventions, and other cardiovascular procedures

Requirements:

• BC/BE Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs
• Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
• Clean professional background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner
