Job Description

Careerscape is currently assisting with the hiring of a Remote Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist for a growing organization seeking detail-oriented professionals to support data accuracy, digital records, and administrative operations.

This remote data entry role is designed for candidates who are organized, reliable, and comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, and online systems. The Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist will help enter, update, review, and maintain important business information while supporting internal teams with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Verify customer, client, product, or business information as needed
  • Identify and correct basic data errors, duplicate records, and missing information
  • Support administrative workflows related to reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping
  • Prepare, format, and update spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents
  • Follow established procedures for handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Communicate with internal team members to clarify missing or incomplete data
  • Meet daily and weekly productivity expectations while maintaining accuracy
  • Assist with basic email, document, and administrative support tasks as assigned
  • Keep work organized in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail across repetitive tasks

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using online systems
  • Ability to type efficiently and review information carefully
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment

  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivated approach to work
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, customer service, retail, clerical work, or office support is helpful but not required
