Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Import Logistics Coordinator to join a growing team in Hialeah. You will be a key player in managing the international movement of goods, ensuring every shipment is compliant, on time, and accurately documented.
  • Role: Import Logistics Coordinator (Hialeah, 33018)
  • Pay: $21.00 – $23.00/hr (Temp-to-Hire)
  • Ideal Candidate: A proactive, English / Spanish Speaking professional with 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or import operations.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Process Support: Coordinates the daily tracking and scheduling of import shipments to ensure everything stays on schedule.
  • Documentation Support: Prepare and organize essential import paperwork, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Customs Coordination: Work closely with customs brokers and senior team members to help gather the information needed for timely customs clearance.
  • Status Updates: Monitor shipment milestones and provide clear, proactive updates to our clients and internal teams.
  • FTZ Operations: Assist with the basic processing of shipments moving in and out of our Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).
  • Client Communication: Serve as a helpful point of contact for client inquiries, directing complex issues to senior staff while ensuring a quick response time.
  • Relationship Building: Develop professional working relationships with our carriers, vendors, and customers through consistent and friendly communication.
  • Problem Solving: Help resolve basic delivery or documentation concerns to ensure our customers remain satisfied.
